Micro hospitals: Poised for Continued Growth

The report evaluated a two-year period (2019 – 2021) and determined that this ongoing trend accelerated during the COVID-19 pandemic, which saw nearly […]

Digital Shifts and Disruption in the Healthcare Industry

While the healthcare industry was already undergoing a digital transformation prior to the pandemic, the crisis of the past two years has accelerated digital adoption within an industry which accounted for over 19% of US GDP in 2020. A growing — and aging — population is contributing to the growth of an already massive industry. As […]

Steps for Healthcare Organizations to Improve Their Cybersecurity

More than one billion emails arrive each day with phishing scams. One in 100 emails sent contains phishing, malware, or ransomware.  And ransomware is growing more popular — and lucrative for cybercriminals. For example, this past spring’s Carolina Pipeline ransomware attack cost the company over $4 million. It also compromised personal information — like social […]

@centerforevaluationcounsel is featured in this small case study. It demonstrates how strategic financial modeling enabled a mission-driven nonprofit to secure long-term occupancy in Wayne, NJ, while aligning with the landlord’s investment objectives.

A strong example of how tailored lease strategies can create sustainable, mutually beneficial outcomes.

This newly completed space is home to a nonprofit organization doing meaningful work—supporting families who are struggling and helping ensure stability at home when it’s needed most.

The ribbon cutting was a special moment, with both the Mayor of Wayne and the Mayor of Paterson in attendance.

What makes this project especially rewarding is the story behind it. Margaret, the organization’s owner, first connected with us over a year ago after losing out on a space she had pursued independently. With tight timelines and unique financial constraints tied to state-funded reimbursements, we had to move quickly—and creatively.

By building a detailed financial model, we structured a lease that:
• Met the landlord’s need for long-term value
• Stabilized rent for the tenant over a 10-year period
• Allowed the organization to plan confidently for the future

The result is a space that works—for the landlord, the tenant, and the families this organization serves.

Seeing the finished office for the first time, and knowing the impact it will have, made this one especially meaningful.

Congratulations to Margaret and her team on their beautiful new office!. #njmentalhealth #cre #cecnj

Solo dental practices are under more pressure than Solo dental practices are under more pressure than ever, and many are responding by moving toward group models.

Running a dental practice today requires far more than clinical expertise. Business operations, staffing, marketing, compliance, and growth planning have become increasingly complex.

As a result, more practices are embracing group models that offer:
• Shared operational resources
• Scalability and flexibility
• Stronger positioning in a competitive healthcare environment

For dental owners, investors, and healthcare landlords, this shift is directly influencing how dental real estate is planned, leased, and positioned.

Understanding this trend is critical to staying competitive in today’s market.
